Proof Types

SafeConnect offers various type of proof suitable to different applications:

• UN Challenge: This is the simplest type of proof and is suitable for off-chain applications. An unpredictable number is cryptographically generated and signed using your wallet to prove ownership.
• Address Attestation: This is a cryptographic attestation that proves you own an Ethereum address. The attestation is cryptographically linked to the browser session which can be used to prevent re-use. For on-chain usages, the user can use any Ethereum account to interact with a smart contract, whilst proving ownership of the primary address.
• NFT Attestation: This is a cryptographic attestation that proves you own a certain token on a specific Ethereum chain. It is like an Address Attestation but additionally allows proving asset ownership across different blockchains.
